Best anti-aging fruits you should eat regularly -Cosmetic chemist

When it comes to reducing the impact of aging, many women may want to resort to going under the scalpel.

However, a Cosmetic Chemist, Luisa Fanzani, has recommended certain fruits to cut down the ageing process.

The chemist, who claims to have featured in Netflix documentary “Broken”, describes herself as “a huge nutrition and anti-aging foods nerd, giving her opinion on what she considers “the best fruits you can eat for anti-aging purposes.”

What are these fruits? Read on!

Black grapes

Black grapes contain way more antioxidants than green grapes; in particular they are full of resveratrol, a strong antioxidant also used in skincare products.

In general darker fruits tend to have more antioxidants than lighter colored fruits; we’ll see another example soon.

Strawberries

People tend to give all the glory to citrus fruit for their vitamin C content, but berries are another excellent source that helps with collagen production on account of their ellagic acid property. Ounce for ounce, strawberries provide more vitamin C than oranges! And they are delicious, too.

Avocado

Avocados have very low sugar content which also makes them a personal favorite of mine, as I try to avoid consuming too much sugar. They contain plenty of vitamin E and C, both antioxidants.

Vitamin E also has anti inflammatory effects. Avocados have been considered “super foods” for a long time now…and for good reasons.

Blueberries

Like we noted earlier, darker fruits are often full of antioxidants, and blueberries of course are a part of this exclusive club. Blueberries are high in plant compounds known as anthocyanins, which have strong antioxidant properties and give them their signature dark purple shade.

Kiwi fruit

Kiwis have twice the amount of vitamin C as an orange (I don’t know why oranges are the spokefruits of vitamin C at this point…). Kiwis are botanically classified as berries, something many may not know.

They contain also lutein, choline, xeazanthine and beta carotene. There have been studies that prove that kiwis help with constipation; they’re pretty famous for that!
