Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN), has denied any involvement with alleged attempt to secure state pardon for convicted crossdresser, Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye, popularly called Bobrisky.
Falana also gave Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan [VDM], a 24-hour ultimatum to retract the statement he made linking him to Bobrisky.
A statement by Falana’s lawyers warns VDM, “We wish to state, without any fear of contradiction, that our client (Falana) has never, in his life, spoken to Bobrisky on his alleged pardon or on any matter whatsoever,” demanding a retraction and an apology to Falana.
It may be recalled that in a trending audio-visual uploaded online by VeryDarkMan, a voice, said to be Bobrisky’s, had alleged that Folarin Falana, aka, Falz, a comedian and son of human rights activist-lawyer Falana, had approached the convict and told him that Falana could help him secure state pardon.
The voice also alleged that he was asked to pay N10m for the alleged service.
Bobrisky has since denied making the allegations contained in the audio-visual. Listen to it here:
