The Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates, 2024 has been scheduled to commence from Friday, October 25, to Friday, December 20, 2024.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the West African Examination Council (WAEC) highlighted that this second series of exams will utilize a hybrid delivery method. Candidates will complete objective or multiple-choice questions on-screen, while essay and practical questions will also be displayed digitally, requiring responses in provided answer booklets.
Also, candidates now have the option to take all examination papers in a traditional Paper and Pen format.
WAEC has extended the registration period for prospective candidates until Tuesday, October 29, 2024, offering a “Walk-in Candidate” option for those registering 24 hours before their desired exam.
The Council has encouraged all candidates to utilise various resources available to them, such as the WAEC e-Study platform and past examination materials.
“All intending and registered candidates are advised to take advantage of the numerous learning resources provided by the Council,” the statement noted.
WAEC restated its commitment to delivering technological innovations to enhance accessibility for all stakeholders, wishing all candidates success in their examinations.
