The masterclass is designed to cater for beginners and seasoned barbers, as it offers a comprehensive learning experience beyond the basics.
Topzycut charges N500K per participant for the two-day master class, as indicated on the flyer.
The participants will have the opportunity to learn the basics of barbing, level up their skills, and create their brand value.
“Elevate your craft in just two days! Join our Barbing Masterclass for aspiring stylists and seasoned barbers looking to sharpen their skills. Don’t miss this opportunity to perfect your artistry.
“Participants will get a certificate of participation, barber’s kit set, and 60 days of one-on-one mentorship,” according to the flyer.
Topzycut came into the limelight in 2020 when his unique and innovative hairstyling and designs on customers’ hair went viral.
This gained public attention and that of some celebrities like Davido, BurnaBoy, Asake, and other celebrities.
Topzycut said he started his barbing career at the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State, where he studied Fine Arts.
He went on to work with some top entertainers such as Burnaboy, Bnxn (formerly known as Buju); Ghanaian artiste, Black Sheriff, Darey, Larry Gaga, Qdot, Dj Obi Asake and the jeweler, Godson Umeh. I have also worked with some foreign celebrities like the American rapper, Travis Lashley, aka Trav, and others.
He said he charges about $100 for home services. He also provides what he calls mobile services.
In 2022, Burna Boy flew him out of the country to cater to his hair.
