D1 disses transgender men, says young people don’t know their gender

Veteran Music Executive, Dayo Adeneye, popularly known as D1, has criticized young women who, in his words, “bring nothing to the table other than their bodies.”

Speaking during an interview on the Honest Bunch podcast, Adeneye said, “Do you listen to what comes out of the mouth of our young women these days, everything is about material things.

“If you ask someone, ‘What do you bring to the table?’ She will say, ‘Look at me now’. Our women don’t say, ‘I have brains, I can do this and that, I can help you take your business to the next level. They feel their body is the table.”

He also lamented that it is difficult for artists in this present time to make conscious music because of the level of moral decadence.

According to him, conscious music will not be commercially successful in today’s world.
“Right now, the world is not ready to listen to anything conscious. Is it this generation that doesn’t know their gender that you want to preach conscious lyrics to?

“Today, someone with beards will tell you, ‘I’m Linda’. Is it that kind of person you want to preach conscious lyrics to?”

Reacting to Adeneye’s comment, Akobundu (@YouthspireNG) tweeted: ‘I really pity the next generation of mothers.’

“D1 is not wrong in his claims, as he speaks from a place of wisdom, knowledge and experience. We all need to do better especially the women of this generation because like it or not, they are going to be the ones to groom the next generation of children. So, if they don’t get it right now, then the future is doomed.

“Let all concerned put focus on this and prevent a disastrous age that awaits our society.”

GRADEUR (@amaka_gemma): ‘RAW TRUTH. They feel their bodies are their market point to et paid easily, not acknowledging that it wouldn’t last.’

Ropskybky (@Ropskybky1): ‘True talk, ladies change your ways.’

Ogugua (@OsObi5): D1, some women are just home makers/keepers, they don’t have anything in their brain except to raise decent human beings. Am not saying, it is an excuse but those categories are an exception, they don’t whore around at the same time, they are not good with business.
