Former President Muhammadu Buhari has undertaken a ‘short trip’ to London, United Kingdom, for undisclosed reasons.
The former President, however, took time off to also visit former Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon (rtd), at the latter’s London residence on Saturday.
General Gowon (rtd), who was Nigeria’s Head of State from 1966 to 1976, recently travelled to the UK to get some rest.
One of Buhari’s media handlers, Buhari Sallau, took to his Facebook page to share the photos of his principal’s visit to General Gowon on Saturday evening.
Sallau wrote: “In the course of his short trip to the United Kingdom, Former President, Muhammadu Buhari paid a visit to an important elder statesman, General Yakubu Gowon, at his London abode.”
