German club offers €18m for Nigerian-born FC Viktoria Plzeň forward Rafiu Durosinmi

German club, Eintracht Frankfurt, are in negotiations with Czech side, Viktoria Plzeň over the signing of Rafiu Adekunle Durosinmi in January, with the Bundesliga outfit offering €18m for the Nigerian striker.

Frankfurt see Durosinmi as an ideal replacement for Randal Kolo Muani who joined Paris Saint Germain [PSG] last summer.

According to reports in Bild, Durosinmi held initial discussions with The Eagles, which has gone well with both clubs (Frankfurt and Viktoria Plzen) discussing a potential transfer fee.

The 20-year-old Nigerian was in fine form for the Czech side this season before tearing his knee ligament.

However, Frankfurt expect the forward to be fit again by the time the January transfer window opens.

Standing at 1.92m tall, the striker is known for his aerial ability and strength, but also his pace with the ball.

Durosinmi could be the all-around forward that Frankfurt are seeking.

However, Frankfurt are expected to face competition from fellow Bundesliga rivals VfL Wolfsburg; though it appears Frankfurt are leading the race.
