I killed my 75-year-old wife for refusing lovemaking, while she slept with her pastors —84-year-old man

An 84-year-old man, Gabriel Uhuwa, has been arrested by the Edo State Police Command for allegedly killing his 75-year-old wife. He said she refused to have sex with him.

His arrest was confirmed by the command on Wednesday. According to the command Public Relations Officer (PRO), Chidi Nwabuzor, Mr. Uhuwa was arrested for allegedly killing his wife for refusing sexual intercourse.

The PPRO narrated that Mr. Uhuwa has been having issues with his wife over her alleged refusal to have sex with him whenever he asked her for it. He expressed that the octogenarian was not remorseful because he felt what he had done was the best solution to his problem.

Uhuwa on his part told newsmen that his wife was not listening to him. “Any time I asked her to come and sleep with me, she always declined. We had seven children together, five boys and two girls.

“I reported the matter to our children and one of our daughters talked to my wife but she didn’t listen. I also reported the matter to my family and her family members, but she failed to listen to them and continued her old ways while I was hearing rumour that pastors were sleeping with her.

“Each time I demanded for sex, she would either tell me she was sick or she had an ulcer, yet I was hearing rumour that she was sleeping with other men and I don’t have money to hire prostitutes,” he said.

He further accused his late wife of poisoning the minds of their children against him as they stopped picking his calls and also refused to send him money.

Frustrated by the situation, he said, “Last week Saturday afternoon, I picked up a cutlass and macheted her out of anger because she was not obeying me.”
