Local security outfit, popularly known as vigilantes, say they have killed four bandits who attacked someone in Dan-Umaru Village in Kebbi State.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ahmed Idris, disclosed this in a statement; quoting the Director, Security at the Cabinet Office, Birnin Kebbi, AbdulRahman Usman, as disclosing the success story.
According to him, when the bandits launched an attack on a village near Dan-Umaru bordering Dadin Duniya in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara, the vigilantes quickly took position and ambushed them, killing the four attackers.
The statement revealed that the victim is currently responding to treatment in an undisclosed hospital while the dead bodies were taken to Dan-Umaru village.
