- As investigation into the circumstances that led to the death of Nigerian singer, Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, deepens, as the Lagos Police Command says Samson Balogun, also known as Sam Larry, is in its custody for questioning.
Mohbad’s death on September 12, and subsequent burial, had stirred controversies and protests in different parts of the world; with widespread outcry for justice.
There were also several allegations of assault and attacks on the deceased by Sam Larry before his death. Nigerians have since Mohbad’s death called for the arrest of Sam Larry.
The police has however disclosed that Sam Larry has been apprehended for questioning.
In a short message tweeted on his X account @BenHundeyin, the Lagos State Police spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed that Sam Larry is ìn police custody for questioning.
He tweeted, “Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody. He is currently assisting with ongoing investigation.”
