Naval fleet ownership: Nigeria ranked third in Africa

Nigeria has been ranked third among African countries with the largest Naval Fleet this year (2024).

This is according to Global Fire Power ranking 2024. The ranking is done from the total number of warships and submarines by countries.

On the list, Algeria ranked number one on the list with 213 Naval Fleet, Egypt ranked second, with 140 Naval Fleet, and Morocco ranked fourth with 121 Naval Fleet.

Nigeria, which ranked third on the list, has a total number of 133 Naval Fleet.

However, South Africa ranks number seven with 47 Naval Fleet, followed by Angola who is ranked number eight with 40 Naval Fleet.
