NDLEA didn’t arrest or detain Mohbad at any time during his lifetime -Spokesman

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has debunked the allegation that it once arrested the late singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, a.k.a, Mohbad.

Mohbad died of yet-to-be-ascertained causes on September 12, and since then, there has been various accusations and allegations about situations that surrounded or led to his death.

One of such allegations was that Mohbad was arrested and detained by the NDLEA on the 24th of February 2022 and given a substance to drink.

The NDLEA vehemently denied this. The denial was contained in a Press statement signed by the agency’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi on Saturday [today].
