Nigerians are engaged in an ongoing “eyeball-to-eyeball” confrontation with controversial Islamic preacher, Dr Zakir Naik who, via his verified X handle @drzakiranaik has been labelling every public office “Muslim.”
While Nigerians on X [formerly Twitter] have continued to educate the controversial Islamic man that Nigeria is a secular state and that its Air Force, Immigration, etc., can’t be described as ‘Muslim,’ his reference to his host, Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar as ‘Heads [sic] of State’ has equally attracted unsparing responses.

There are many ethnicities in Nigeria. He’s NOT the Head and can NOT be the Head of all ethnicities. The President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the President of all ethnicities and the armed force commander. He is the Head of Muslims and Hausa Fulanis in Nigeria.
