No evidence Naira Marley, Sam Larry have links to nurse who injected Mohbad -Police

AbdulAzeez Fashola (Naira Marley), Samuel Eletu (Sam Larry) and Owodunni Ibrahim (Prime Boy) have been ordered to appear before the Coroner at its next inquest.

The coroner inquest is looking into the cause of death of 27-year-old Singer, IleriOluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known as MohBad.

At the resumption of the inquest on Friday [today], Magistrate Sotobi Adedayo of the Candide Johnson Courthouse, in Ikorodu, Lagos State, instructed the Police to produce the music stars on the next adjourned date, October 25, 2023, to unravel the cause of the late singer’s death.

Adedayo calls for cooperation on the investigation for speedy and fast justice delivery on the death of the singer, while advising that the interested parties shouldn’t encourage delay in order for MohBad’s remains to be finally laid to rest.

An Assistant Superintendent of Police, ASP Muhammad Yusuf, an Investigating Police Officer attached to the homicide section of the States Criminal Investigating Department (SCID), Panti, while narrating the police’s findings to the coroner, says in the course of investigations, there was no evidence beyond reasonable doubt that Naira Marley assaulted Mohbad, neither was there any evidence that Sam Larry and Naira Marley are linked to Feyisayo Ogedengbe, the nurse who administered injection on the deceased.

Muhammad adds that the autopsy and toxicology results will determine the actual cause of MohBad’s death and that it is yet to be concluded.

The coroner adjourned till October 25th for continuation of the hearing.
