To the average Nigerian, Hajiya Dada Yar’Adua hardly existed. This is because you didn’t hear her voice being quoted in the dailies, nor was she a champion of any issue of national importance as to attract public attention.
Yet, politicians felt indebted to her and they jostled one another to go do obeisance to a woman who was not only the wife of a ‘king,’ but was also mother to president, minister, lawmaker; and grandmother to at least two first ladies of states.
