The Wednesday hours-long downpour in Lagos has led to the collapse of a building at 10, Cameroon Street in Mushin, a heavily populated suburb in the state.
It was learnt that a child was also feared dead in the tragic incident.
According to reports, sympathisers, however, rescued seven other residents were from the rubble of the collapsed building.
A resident said the building collapsed due to the downpour that has also affected many parts of Lagos.
She said the Lagos rescue team had yet to respond to emergency calls as of the time of filing this report.
