A Federal High Court in Abuja has granted Chioma Okoli a N5 million bail and two sureties in like sum.

The bail was granted on Friday.

Okoli is facing charges for her review of a tomato paste produced by Erisco Foods Limited’, which the Police say contravened the Cybercrime Act of 2015.

She was brought before the court by the Inspector-General of Police and indicted on two counts of cybercrime.

Okoli entered a plea of not guilty to both charges.

Chioma was arraigned on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at the Federal High Court in Abuja before Hon. Justice Peter Lifu. She pleaded not guilty to the two counts of conspiracy and cyberstalking levelled against her.
