Charli Grace D’Amelio
With a pretty face, perfect shape, and over 100 million followers on Tik Tok, it’s safe to say Charli D’Amelio is living her best life. And, what’s even more inspiring about her story?
She’s just 18. At such a young age, she’s already exceeded the limits that people twice – or even thrice – her age can only lay down at night and dream about.
Born 1st May 2004, in the United States to parents – Marc and Heidi D’Amelio, Charli already had her life figured out at a very tender age and already knew dancing was her super power. She started Dance practicing as early as age three and was an active dancer in school.
Being an active member of the High School dance team, Charli spent most of her time at the King School representing her school in different Dancing Competitions. So engrossed and dedicated to the dance craft was she that she had to finish her High School education virtually due to her growing success and popularity.
The average Jack or Jill out there will probably spend years and, even more, years trying to get noticed on a social media platform, but not Charli! She could probably write a book on How to hack TikTok 101 and make it a Bestseller.
It took her just seven months to achieve a milestone of 50 million followers on the platform, setting a record as the first creator to ever pull that off. And, as if that was not jaw-breaking enough, she went ahead on to set another record a couple of months after that by becoming the first ever to reach 100 million followers on the same platform.
She was a founding member of the famous Hype House, a group of TikTok content creators who work together, living under the same roof. And it was there she met her Ex-boyfriend, Chase Hudson, who she dated for a while until they parted ways over a cheating scandal.
Signing on to UTA in 2021 puts her in a better position to further maximise her talents, and it’s safe to say the sky is her limit.
Liza Koshy
A quick look at Liza Koshy’s organic rise would reveal the fact that she was born for the spotlights. Her sheer determination to realize her dream as an actress made her abandon her studies in Business marketing at the University of Houston to pursue a career in acting
in 2015. She also produced and starred as the leading character in her own Youtube comedy series from 2018 to 2021 which speaks much of her ingenuity, dexterity, and will to succeed.
Born in Houston, Texas to an Indian father and a mom of German descent on the 31st of March, 1996, Elizabeth Shaila Koshy attended Lamar High School before moving on to the University of Houston. She left the University after just a year and moved to Los Angeles to chase her dreams.
Koshy started out uploading short comic posts on Vine and by the time the platform closed in 2017, she already had over 7 million followers. She moved on to concentrate on Youtube after the closure of vine and had the rare opportunity to interview President Barrack Obama on her channel which further boosts her ranks.
The result was evident as she became the fastest person on Youtube to reach 10 million subscribers in 2017.
Her Youtube comedy series ‘Liza on Demand’ premiered in June 2018 and has been receiving positive reviews, especially after the second season which premiered sometime in September 2019. She moved on to feature in a couple of movies, some notable ones being Escape the Night and the Netflix dance-comedy Work It, where she co-starred alongside Jordan Fisher. Koshy also voiced the character – Zipp Storm – in Netflix’s 2021 movie, Little Pony: A New Generation.
