Try seafood okra soup and Shakshouka!

Okra is very healthy and loved across many tribes in Nigeria. Adding the rich essence of seafood to your okra takes it to another level, rich in protein, carbs, and healthy fat. Let’s take a look at the recipe together.

Cook Time: 10 mins
Total Time: 30 mins.
Servings: 4 people

Ingredients
● One cup of chopped red bell pepper
● One small onion
● 1/3 cup of olive oil
● One teaspoon of ground crayfish
● ½ teaspoon of black pepper
● ½ lb. of tilapia
● ½ lb. of shrimps
● ½ lb. of clams
● Salt to taste and for the seafood
● One teaspoon of bouillon powder
● Two cups of okra
● One teaspoon of cayenne pepper

Instructions
1. Boil some water and set aside.
2. Wash your clams, shrimps, and codfish.
3. Use a clean piece of cloth to dry the shrimps and fish.
4. Take your non-stick pan and add a little bit of oil. Under medium heat, heat your shrimps and codfish on opposite sides of the pan.
5. Add some salt and black pepper to the frying shrimp and codfish.
6. Allow them to fry for about 10 minutes stirring and flipping.
7. Once it is done, take it out of the pan and set aside.
8. Add the clams to the boiling water and after a few minutes the clams will begin to pop.
9. Ensure that all clams are properly opened before you drain and set aside.
With the seafood properly prepared, we can proceed to the cooking of the seafood okra.
10. Wash your okra, cut off the stems on both sides and set aside.
11. Next, chop and blend your pepper using your food processor.
12. Once this is done, you need to add your chopped onions and red bell pepper.
13. In a pot under medium heat, add some olive oil and then your chopped onions, and pepper.
14. Fry for about five minutes, constantly stirring.
15. Next, add your okra, ground crayfish, bouillon powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
16. If the salt is not sufficient, you can add some extra salt to the mix.
17. Stir everything together before adding the codfish, clams, and shrimp.
18. Let this final mix cook for about 5 minutes before turning off the heat.
19. Serve with your preferred solid and enjoy.

● Two big eggs
● ½ can diced tomatoes 7.5oz

Method
1. Heat your oil in a pan.
2. Once it is hot enough but not too hot, add your chopped garlic, red bell pepper, and onions and stir for a couple of minutes.
3. Add your spices as well as the tomato sauce.
4. Allow it to boil for about five minutes.
5. Using your spoon form two small openings in the sauce.
6. Break your eggs into those small openings.
7. Once this is properly done, cover the pan and allow the eggs to properly cook – about 5 to 10 minutes under medium heat.
8. Open the pan and garnish with chopped red pepper and cilantro.
9. Serve and enjoy.
