Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, has expressed satisfaction with the Nigeria Police for helping him to track down and arrest one of the people accusing him of having affairs with the widow of John Paul Obumneme Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope.
Junior Pope drowned on April 10, 2024 while filming a movie, leaving a wife and three children. He was aged 42.
E-Money and singer Kingsley Chinweike Okonkwo, better known as Kcee, subsequently promised to take care of Junior Pope’s kids until adulthood.
Not long after, two social media users and some Instagram blogs had accused E-money of being partly responsible for the death of Junior Pope and someone else they claimed threatened to expose the alleged love affair between E-Money and Junior Pope’s wife.
They did not substantiate their wild claims.
In response to the scurrilous allegations, E-Money had posted on his Instagram page a few days ago: It has come to my attention that some individuals are spreading damaging and false information about my relationship with my late brother, Junior Pope, and his family during this difficult time of mourning.
These actions show a complete lack of respect for the memory of the deceased and are deeply hurtful to our grieving family.
I cannot fold my hands and allow this heinous act to continue without consequence. I am committed to identifying these unscrupulous individuals and ensuring they are held accountable.
It is imperative that we clean up our social media space and let the law take its rightful course. Furthermore, bloggers disseminating this information without proper investigation and confirmation will also not be spared in this bid for justice.
Anyone with credible information that can assist the authorities in apprehending these two women responsible for this malicious character assassination, should please come forward. Your help will not only bring justice but highly appreciated. Enough is enough!
Thank you for your support and understanding during this challenging time.

Then on Thursday [today], E-Money wrote: I’m relieved to share that one of the individuals responsible for the character assassination against me has been apprehended by the Nigeria Police Force and will face prosecution. This is a significant step towards ending the scourge of cyber bullying.
My heartfelt gratitude goes out to the diligent officers of the Nigerian Police Force for their unwavering commitment to justice.
