The Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has paid a visit to an assylum camp housing Nigerians and other assylum applicants in Brompton, Canada.
Dabiri-Erewa was accompanied by other Nigerian settlers in Canada.
In view of the condition under which the assylum seekers live, the former lawmaker urged Nigerians travelling abroad to do so legitimately, and with proper documentation to avoid unpleasant consequences.
