A crime suspect has narrated to men of the Delta State Police Command how he robs his victims after he might have hynotised them.
In a trending online video, the suspect, while being interrogated, recounts how he pretended to be a stranger and hypnotised a young lady he had approached to give him the direction to a place.
He confesses to working with an accomplice, successfully hypnotising the young lady who withdrew N124,000 from her bank account, while they also ordered her to go home and bring her aunt’s gold jewelry.
Sharing the video of the suspect as he is being interrogated, the spokesperson of the command, SP Bright Edafe, tweeted via his verified X handle @Brightgoldenboy, “Have you ever encountered people who pretend to be strangers and looking for direction?
“And they end up doing one or two fetish things and before you say jack, they convince you to give them all your money and belongings, you only get yourself when they disappear.
‘Well, we have arrested one of them. Pls, listen to how they do it. He said if he dey enjoy the life of fraud make him die.”
