Africa’s richest man and Chairman, Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, says he needs 35 visas on his Nigerian passport to travel in Africa.
He laments that a French passport has more visa-free access in Africa than him after the CEO of TotalEnergies Patrick Pouyanné, a French national, said he didn’t experience such problem with his French passport.
“I really don’t have the time to be dropping my passport in embassies to get a visa,” Dangote declares, warning that if African countries continue to impose travel restrictions on one another, it will stagnate development in the region.
