Launched in 2021, the Mama-2-Mama initiative encourages women to adopt positive behaviors, including the uptake of reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health (RMNCH) services at the community level.
Iya takes its name from the Yoruba word for “mother” and tells unusual and fascinating stories about women – with a focus on African women. It publishes life stories of struggle, courage, and triumph of real women. Iya uncovers the challenges met by these women, the ordeals they suffered, the odds they overcame, and the results they accomplished.
