Men of the Nigerian Police were seen distributing water and biscuits to protesters in Lagos State.
Lagosians had come out to protest the high cost of living and hunger in the land; demanding quick action from the government to alleviate their financial burdens and improve their quality of life.
Some of the protesters were heard in the video, saying, the water being shared by the Police is part of the allocation.
“Give everybody water. Na awa money o,” they said in pidgin English.
