The Kano State Police Command says it has arrested two suspects involved in the theft of the Bachirawa Police Station signpost. The suspects were arrested in Ungogo Local Government Area of the state.
The spokesperson for the state Police command, SP Abdullahi Kiyawa, disclosed this on Facebook, adding that the suspects were arrested with the help of residents in the area.
His message, written in Hausa and translated to English, reads, “The person who stole Bachirawa Police Station (signpost) and the person who collected it are working hand-in-hand. Residents of the neighbourhood have brought up a new signpost.
“We are grateful to the people of Bachirawa.”
