Vice President Kashim Shettima has departed Abuja for Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.
He left this afternoon to provide encouragement to Nigeria’s Super Eagles in the AFCON 23 semi-final match against South Africa.
The move came at the behest of President Bola Tinubu in a statement signed by Stanley Nkwocha, senior special spokesperson, media and publicity to the VP.
Today’s crucial game is scheduled to take place at the State de la Paix in Bouake, Cote d’Ivoire at 6.00pm Nigerian time.
