Adegoke Oluwaseun Damilola, a concerned citizen, has issued a heartfelt plea for assistance from the public in a dire case involving alleged child abuse.
The distressing situation revolves around a young boy and his siblings who are purportedly suffering maltreatment at the hands of their father.
Taking to Facebook to share her concerns, Adegoke reported that the incident unfolded in Osogbo, Osun State.
She detailed a distressing account of events, asserting that on Wednesday, October 4, the children’s father allegedly used a cutlass to assault the young boy. Overwhelmed by fear and desperation, the boy fled home, eventually finding refuge in a local church.
Adding to the gravity of the situation, Adegoke disclosed that the boy’s mother had abandoned him and his siblings some time ago, leaving them under the care of their father. This unfortunate circumstance has left the children exposed to alleged abuse and neglect.
In her social media post, Adegoke issued an impassioned appeal, stating, “Please, someone should send me the contact information for any organization capable of providing proper care for this boy and his siblings.
“The boy’s name is Samson, and his father reportedly assaulted him with a cutlass just yesterday. He ran away from home and spent the night in a church nearby.
“This morning, we discovered him in a state of unconsciousness. His mother had left him and his other siblings in their father’s care and departed.
“The situation is urgent, and he requires immediate assistance.”
The Police have not confirmed the veracity of Adegoke’s claims.
