3 vessels discharge petroleum products at Lekki port

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Thursday said that three vessels would discharge petroleum products at Lekki Deep Sea Port in Lagos.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that NPA made the disclosure in its Shipping Position, a daily publication of the organisation, in Lagos.

NAN also reports that the three vessels will discharge aviation fuel, petrol and diesel.

NPA added that another 15 vessels were expected to berth at Apapa and Tincan Island ports in Lagos.

Of these, two vessels will berth with general cargo containing different goods, two vessels with fresh fish, another two with base oil, two with bulk wheat and two with towing machines.

“The remaining five expected vessels will berth with diesel, pallets, containers, bulk sugar and containers.

“The 15 expected vessels will berth in various terminals, such as Apapa Bulk, ENL Consortium, APMT, Ports and Cargo in Apapa as well as Tincan Island ports in Lagos,” NPA said. (NAN)
