Delectable Nigerian actress, Iniobong Edo, has stated the reasons why she had her baby through surrogacy.
Ini, who spoke in a TV interview, said she had been through a series of miscarriages and was tired of trying for a child.
She added that the baby was hers through and throuh because she used her own eggs.
“I chose surrogacy because I had a couple of miscarriages. And I just got tired of trying.
“I don’t have a husband. So, I’m like, I want a child for myself, whether I have a husband or not.
“So, what other options would I have? And I wanted it to be my child. My eggs.
“Thankfully, my eggs are good. So I did that,” the actress stated.
Ini Edo had her baby in 2021.
She had married American-based businessman Philip Ehiagwina on November 29, 2008, but the marriage only lasted five years as the couple divorced in 2013.
The actress said the marriage was forced upon her by her family, noting, “I regret my decision to get married because it wasn’t just the right move to make.”
