Nollywood star Angela Okorie has sparked controversy after she posted a video of herself washing her hands with a bottle of Dom Pérignon champagne on Instagram.

The actress, who has been in the industry for two decades, was seen at a bar with a basin full of drinks and a friend who poured the luxury champagne over her hands.
Angela claimed that she had to use Dom Pérignon to clean her hands because the economy was too bad for ordinary water.
She also used the caption to praise herself for her achievements in acting and singing, saying that she had starred in over 200 movies and visited every country in the world.
The video, which has gone viral, has drawn mixed reactions from her fans and critics, some of whom accused her of being arrogant and wasteful.
