A man who moved to the United Kingdom a month ago has been caught sending sexually explicit messages and photos to a 14-year-old girl he met on a dating site.
The 30-year-old man, whose identity has not been revealed, was arrested by the police after they received a tip-off from a concerned citizen.
The police reportedly found evidence of the man’s inappropriate communication with the girl on his phone.
He had asked her to send him pictures of her breasts and had also sent her images of his genitals.
He had also expressed his desire to have sex with her, despite knowing that she was underage.
The man confessed to his actions in a video that was circulated on social media. He said that he had a three-month-old child and that he was lonely and bored in the UK.
He claimed that he did not intend to harm the girl and that he was sorry for what he had done.
The police are investigating the case and have urged parents to monitor their children’s online activities.
They have also warned the public to be wary of online predators who may target vulnerable minors.
