Attend the NWC, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu urges women, youths

As part of the preparations for the 23rd National Women’s Conference, which will take place from 17 to 19 October 2023, the First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, led a walk/awareness campaign at Epe Division on Sunday, along with members of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials.

She called on women and youths to actively join the conference, which aims to positively impact the society through the participants.

She highlighted the theme of this year’s conference is “Unleash your potentials”, and that it will provide an opportunity for women from diverse backgrounds to exchange ideas and learn from each other on various issues that concern women in society.

She added that the conference will also equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to become more effective agents of change in their communities.

She stated, “We have invited various eminent speakers and experts to address our women on topics such as empowerment, food security, education, family, lifestyle, cyber security, technology use, and other vital issues”.

She urged the youth to take advantage of the virtual platform, which will make it easier for them to access technology and benefit from the rich insights offered by the conference.

She said that the conference will also raise awareness among women and youths on the latest developments and trends in areas such as food security, eco-friendliness, and cyber security.
