Having makeup on is great; it brings out the spark in your looks. However, makeup should not define you. After all, make-up is not supposed to define you; it’s something we put on to make us look specially prepared for that special occasion. However, your makeup can look a lot better when you take care of your skin.
When we have acne outbreaks and pimples as a result of poor skin care culture, there is little any amount of makeup can do to solve the problem, and even when we have to spend a lot of money on professional makeup artists who help us clear our skins, it is still not enough because we’re simply playing coverup. If you can seriously dedicate good time to good skin care, you can always have light makeup on wherever you go without feeling less confident.
So, if you have been in the habit of using heavy makeup to cover for poor skincare routines, it is time for a change!
What if I have a Skin Condition that needs Treatment?
If you have skin conditions that are difficult to manage personally, then you can visit a dermatologist. These are professionals who can examine your skin condition as well as your skin type and prescribe solutions that can help restore your beautiful skin. It’s not all about picking up multiple creams and hoping for the best; a lot of them can hurt you even more than before you used them.
Can I Pop My Pimples?
I do not know why, but for some reason, a lot of women love to pop their pimples immediately after they see them. However, dermatologists advise against doing this because it can lead to a lot of skin infections and even scar the tissues around that part of the face. So, word of advice, if you have a lot of pimples, leave them alone. If you feel like you have too many of these pimples, then you can visit your dermatologist for advice.
I have dry skin; what can I use to improve my facial Texture?
There are a lot of factors that contribute to dry skin, and while we can easily tell you to start using facial oils, stock up on Vitamin C, and try chemical peels, there is more to it than meets the eye. It might be environmental, genetic, or a mix of both factors.
For this reason, you need to ensure that you seek professional help from a dermatologist to get to the root of the matter; avoid performing experiments with your face because it will not help.
Be Confident In Your Natural Self
On a final note, you need to have more confidence in yourself. You need to be able to tell yourself; I am beautiful with or without makeup because when you do this, you create a mindset and a mentality that is not dependent on makeup to look great.
You’re beautiful; take good care of yourself, and whenever you need to put on makeup, you’ll feel a lot more confident knowing that you are not hiding behind a mask.
