Amma Buwa, daughter of the member representing Ngala at the Borno State House of Assembly, Bukar Abacha, has been murdered by unknown persons.
She was reportedly strangulated to death on Tuesday evening at the Gidan Dembe area of Maiduguri, an incident that attracted crowd to the scene.
According to a source, the incident occurred when the deceased’s husband had left the house to pray in a nearby mosque.
He narrated that the deceased’s husband only came back from the mosque to find her body in the room with her hands and legs tied, while her two-year-old son cried beside her.
It was gathered that the Gwange Police Division has evacuated Amma’s corpse to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital for autopsy and further investigation.
