A bold phone theft unfolded at the Chicken Republic branch on Airport Road, Warri, Delta State on Tuesday, as a yet-to-be-identified woman pretended to be a customer and succeeded in making away with the phone of an unsuspecting victim.
The entire incident was captured by the establishment’s surveillance cameras.
The cunning suspect, who blended seamlessly with other customers, seized the opportune moment to pilfer a mobile phone before discreetly exiting the premises. The victim only discovered the theft later, and had promptly reported the incident to the police.
Law enforcement agents are now actively seeking the public’s cooperation in identifying and apprehending the suspect.
