Nollywood star Shaffy Bello has shared her views on what makes a woman attractive and desirable in a relationship or marriage.
The actress, who had featured in the hit movie “King of Boys”, spoke to TV host Stephanie Coker about the importance of women being independent and self-reliant.
According to Shaffy, women should not expect men to provide everything for them, but rather contribute their own value and skills to the partnership. She said that women who ask men “what do I bring to the table?” are missing the point, and should instead focus on what they can offer to the relationship.
“I think we both should ask ourselves what are we both bringing to the table. If he is bringing something to the table, what are you bringing to the table? I don’t want a liability if I am a man. I don’t want to marry a liability. As a matter of fact, you are even more attractive when you don’t need him. When you don’t need me, you are more attractive. You are just needy, that is not attractive,” she said.
Shaffy’s advice resonates with many women who are striving to achieve their own goals and dreams, and not depend on men for their happiness and security. The actress also revealed some of her personal experiences and challenges in the entertainment industry, and how she balances her career and family life.
