Prep Time: 15 mins
Cook Time: 10 mins.
Total Time: 25 mins.
Servings: 2 people
Ingredients
• One medium russet potato (about six ounces), with skin
• One teaspoon of olive oil
• Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- Heat your air fryer to three hundred eighty degrees Fahrenheit.
- Slice the potato in half along its length, then cut those halves into quarter-inch thick slices.
- Next, chop those slices into quarter-inch wide sticks. Place the potato sticks in a medium-sized bowl. Rinse them thoroughly under cold water, then let them drain and dry them off with paper towels.
- In the same bowl, gently mix the potato sticks with olive oil. Season them with half a teaspoon of salt and a generous amount of black pepper, ensuring they’re evenly coated.
- If needed, cook the fries in batches to avoid crowding. Arrange them in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t overlap.
- Cook them, flipping halfway through, until they’re golden brown and crispy, about fourteen to 16 minutes.
- Once done, take them out and add a little more salt to taste.
