A former Minister of Education Oby Ezekwesili, who had also served as a Minister of Mineral Resources, has denied ever buying new cars for herself while in office.

Ezekwesili was furious with the lawmakers and had called them “incorrigible bunch of lawbreakers.”

Ezekwesili refuted this allegation and said that she inherited the old vehicles from her predecessors and instructed the permanent secretary to repair them.
