Lagos environ corps arrest 6 men urinating on rail track

The Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (KAI) special Taskforce says it has arrested six individuals who were openly urinating on the rail track in front of the Nigeria Army Shopping Complex Arena, Oshodi.

The Lagos State Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, stated this on his verified X handle @tokunbo_wahab on Saturday.

He had tweeted, “6 defaulters were earlier today arrested for open urination on rail track in front of Nigeria Army Shopping Complex, Arena, Oshodi.”

According to him, the arrests were made as part of the Lagos State Government’s ongoing efforts to enforce a cleaner and more sanitary environment under the #ZeroToleranceLagos and #CleanerLagos initiatives.

Meanwhile, the commissioner had earlier warned in a tweet: “The Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (KAI) special Taskforce patrolling Ojudu – Berger and environ to apprehend anyone found crossing the highway without using the pedestrian bridge or defecating on the road median.”
