TG Omori is trending on X. This is because the popular music director and cinematographer, ThankGod Omori Smith, widely known as TG Omori, has disclosed that his recent kidney transplant is unsuccessful.
The 29-year-old artist made this known in a tweet via his verified X handle @boy_director.
The artiste had earlier revealed that his brother had donated a kidney to him
He had tweeted late on Tuesday: “Yesterday my only brother gave me one of his kidney [sic] so I could live again.”
He shared photographs of himself with an oxygen face mask via his Instagram story, while he also expressed fears about death.
“Keep my spirit alive. I don’t wanna die,” he wrote on his Instagram story.
However, in a later update on Wednesday, TG Omori revealed that the transplant was not successful and asked the public to keep him in their prayers.
“One year after my kidney crashed I just had a failed transplant at st Nicolas Lagos. Pray for me,” he tweeted on Wednesday.
An hour later, he tweeted again, “Went into this theater 3 times, wasn’t just destined to die today.”
His tweets have received thousand of responses:

I’m truly sorry to hear about your journey with kidney transplants; it must have been an incredibly challenging path. Your strength and resilience in facing this ordeal not once, but three times, is nothing short of heroic. Each transplant signifies not just a medical procedure,…

Bizarrely, some expressed doubts about his condition:
Are you sure you’re not chasing clout? Because how can you be fighting for their life and tweeting at the same time
— Realtimmywrld😈 (@realtimmywrld) August 28, 2024
Why are you still tweeting if you’re truly fighting for your life?

TG, reach if you need another one. I don’t mind to be taking in for a match test, for free bro. Can’t afford to miss your visuals in the entertainment industry.
