Thirty-eight year-old Nollywood actress Tayo Sobola, popularly known as Sotayo Gaga, has welcomed her first child.
The news of her childbirth was announced by her colleague, Joke Jigan, on Instagram on Tuesday.
Jigan shared a photo of the popular Yoruba actress with her newborn and expressed her congratulations while thanking God for the safe delivery.
“The news I have been patiently waiting for. This one sweetens me to my core. Sotayo Gaga, well done, love, and congratulations to you,” Jigan wrote.
Another colleague, Ronke Odusanya, also congratulated her on the arrival of her newborn baby.
“This news fills my heart with joy! The God that never fails, Alaanu Oloore, we bless thee; you are worthy of our praise,” she wrote on Instagram.
“You are worthy of our praise. Thank you, Lord, for this great gift; we appreciate you, Lord. We trusted in you, and you did it. Congratulations, sweetheart Sotayo Gaga.”
Sobola also shared a video on her Instagram page, proudly displaying her baby bump with a praise song playing in the background.
The 38-year-old actress, who hails from Ogun State, is said to be married to Kayode Peters. Peters is, however, yet to post the news of the arrival of the baby on his Instagram page.
