Ogun State Government on Wednesday confirmed that its website (www.ogunstate.gov.ng) was hacked.
The Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, disclosed that the government is working to restore the website, assuring that all critical data and applications are secured.
Hackers had on Wednesday attacked the state government’s website as the homepage showed ‘Hacked by Aliester Crowley. Update your security. Greetings from Maldives’ at about 10.44am.
Talabi therefore in a statement assured that the State ICT team is working round the clock to access and restore all the critical services.
According to him, improving on the cyber security architecture is sacrosanct.
