A prophet has blasted his flock for being tight-fisted with their offerings, despite having plenty of money. He said that only the god of thunder, Amadioha, would accept such a meagre amount.
The prophet, who goes by the name of Emmanuel Okeke, is the Senior Prophet of the Watchtower Prayer Network. He was preaching to his congregation when he noticed that some of them were giving only N500 out of their N1 million income as an offering.
He accused them of lying that God had led them to give such a small amount, and warned them that they were blocking their blessings. He said that they should learn to give generously, as God loves a cheerful giver.
The video of his sermon has gone viral on social media, sparking mixed reactions from netizens. Some agreed with him, saying that people should not be stingy with God. Others disagreed, saying that he was being greedy and manipulative.
