Uche Ewah Azikiwe, the wife of Nigeria’s first president, has called on Nigerians to resist the temptation of leaving the country in search of greener pastures abroad.
She said Nigerians have the potential and the responsibility to make their nation great.
She made this remark at a function in Abuja on Wednesday, November 15, where she also advised the wives of the leaders to be productive and to raise their children with patriotism and love for Nigeria.
She said: “I want the wives of our leaders to be busy and to train our children well so that they will love Nigeria as my son said earlier, they are not going anywhere.
No matter what happens in Nigeria, we must live in Nigeria, so that none of our children will run away tomorrow or next. Let us stay in Nigeria and transform Nigeria to the best we can.”
