The incident sparked a massive protest in the school on Thursday morning, with the students carrying placards with different inscriptions.
A victim who anonymously narrated her ordeal on social media, said, “We called the school security but, as usual, they did not show up until 20 minutes after the operation.
“Doors were forced open. Loud male voices echoing down the hallway announcing terror. Resistance was met with gunshots. Phones and laptops were taken away
“A young boy in his early twenties or so, in clean white shirt and shorts, was on the lookout for the robbers. He stood in the space between hostels C and D. Finally, it was a successful robbery,” the victim added.
The incident has been met with widespread criticisms, with many wondering the whereabouts of the school security personnel throughout the duration of the operation.
