Three Nigerian women nominated for five-week tech training in America

The trio of Adejoke Opeyemi-Ogungbire, Aderonke Sakpere, and Ebenezer Chris-Ajah have been nominated to participate in the TechWomen 2023 programme.

The US Consulate made this known via its Instagram handle @usinnigeria.

TechWomen supports the United States’ global commitment toward advancing the rights and participation of women and girls around the world by enabling them to reach their full potential in the tech industry.

The three Nigerians were celebrated on the official Instagram account of the United States Diplomatic Mission in Nigeria on Thursday [today].

The US Consulate General in Nigeria, Will Stevens, congratulated them on their achievement and encouraged them to make the most of their exchange experience.

During the five-week TechWomen program, emerging female leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics [STEM] will engage in project-based mentorships at leading tech companies in Chicago, as well as professional development workshops and networking events.
