An operator of a fish farm and poultry in Enugu State, Ngozi Dede, says people claiming to be government officials on Tuesday demolished her multi-million naira poultry and fish farm.
According to her, the poultry had over 18,000 birds, while her fish pond had 5,000 fish.
The government demolition squad allegedly invaded her farm without prior notification to her farm, though she said she was aware that certain areas in the local government had been earmarked for demolition.
The farm was located at Nchatancha Nike, Enugu East Local Government Area.
“I’ve not been able to sleep since the incident,” Madam Dede lamented.
