All six siblings in this family have albinism. Pakistani-born Aslam Parvez and Shameem Akhtar who both have albinism went on to have six children who also have albinism.
They are: Naseem Akhtar, Ghulam Ali, Haider Ali, Muqadas Bibi, Musarat Begum, Mohammed Rafi, as verified in Coventry, United Kingdom, on 14 May, 2021.
There has been much media coverage of the family over the years and it has always been their wish to be recognised by Guinness World Records.
To mark this momentous event, one of the siblings, Naseem, decided to apply for this record title.
