A Facebook user identified as Onoh Chukwuma Richard allegedly committed suicide on Tuesday by drinking a poisonous substance.
He was said to have taken the far-reaching decision after allegedly losing the sum of N2.5m to a betting site.
According to reports, he had allegedly borrowed N1.5m for betting purposes, and after the money was lost, the people he borrowed the money from were allegedly on his neck for repayment.
In what amounted to a suicide e-note, Onoh had posted on his Facebook wall this message:

However, upon seeing the live video and post, some of his friends were said to have allegedly tried to contact him, but he was not responding.
Reports say that his neighbors rushed to his apartment where they allegedly found him unconscious. They also allegedly found an empty bottle of sniper.
According to eyewitnesses, Onoh was quickly rushed to Madonna Catholic Hospital, Umuahia, Abia State, where doctors reportedly tried to save his life. However, a few hours later, reports alleged, he passed on.
